We also support couples facing infidelity, communication difficulties, and trust concerns. We help couples deepen their connection.

For individuals navigating perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, burnout, or the weight of constant responsibility, we offer tools to help restore balance and clarity.

Support for what you are carrying.

From constant worry to deep loss, these are some of the concerns people bring to Hope Restored every week.

Meet Demi, The Founder

“We exist because too many people have had to navigate their healing journey alone, or in spaces that never truly saw them.” That belief shapes every session I offer. I use integrative, culturally aware approaches so therapy feels like it was built for you, not adapted to fit you.

Having lived in Africa, Europe, and North America, I bring cultural curiosity, humility, and a deep understanding of how identity, and lived experiences shape our emotional world. My goal is to create a space that reminds you that therapy is for you, and you belong here.

– Demi Babatunde, RP, CCC, PMP

FAQ's

Counselling focuses on providing short-term guidance and support to help you address specific issues or life challenges. While Psychotherapy on the other hand provider deeper and longer-term guidance and support, helping address underlying patterns, emotional difficulties/ dysregulation, and mental health conditions. Both are conducted by trained professionals, but psychotherapy involves more intensive work by exploring past experiences and deeper emotional work to identify root causes and provide lasting change.

A counsellor holds a master’s degree in counselling and uses talk therapy to help client develop coping strategies and provides short-term support. A psychotherapist and psychologist hold advanced degrees (master’s or doctorate degrees), provide talk therapy, and utilize evidence based therapeutic modalities for long-term support. A psychologist can also provide psychological testing and diagnose. A social worker holds a master’s degree in social work and provides holistic support meaning both mental health advocacy, psychotherapy when clinically licensed, and connection to social services.

You might benefit from therapy if you are experiencing ongoing stress, anxiety, mood swings, depression, grief, relationship difficulties or any situation that feels too difficult to manage. Therapy can help you gain perspective, develop coping strategies, and improve your overall emotional well-being. If you are also curious but unsure about needing therapy, you may benefit from increased self-awareness and unlock more of your subconscious to help you understand your reactions.

During your first session, your therapist will take time to understand your concerns, discuss your goals, and outline a plan for your therapy. It’s an opportunity to ask questions and get comfortable with the process.
